![]() The Midnight Club is a heartwarming and delightful picture book about the late-night adventures of two little girls. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. All in all, it's just a cute story about a bond between sisters and sharing little secrets with one another. I would have liked it more if there was a little less of the aforementioned elements to keep the book exciting. However, not much happens, there's not a lot of text because of the whole "you have to be silent to sneak around" and the repetitive coloring in the illustrations actually ended up making the story feel a bit duller than I was expecting it to be. I enjoyed the art style of the blue illustrations with the warm yellow glow occasionally for emphasis. The children are innocent and only slightly mischievous, they don't make a gigantic mess or sneak out of the house or anything. ![]() The Midnight Club follows two siblings who get up after their parents are asleep and sneak around the house. ![]()
